Eton Dragonflies Committee

Our activities as organised by a voluntary committee.

We are happy to receive expressions of interest from members wishing to contribute to the work. Please get in touch.

Danny Williams, Chairman

Danny was an early member of Dragonflies. He worked in publishing and media for many years, more recently taking a role launching a new government agency. When he’s not darting around the country, he lives between London and Sussex. He took over the Chairmanship in 2024 from Thomas Ponsonby who ably chaired Dragonflies from 2012.

Francis Williams, Secretary

Francis is a classical music agent and manager, representing artists internationally. When not travelling or at concerts, he sings in various London choirs. He joined the Dragonflies in 2016 and took over from Piers Torday as Secretary in 2020.

Tim Funnell, Treasurer

Tim is an avid, but amateur beekeeper and an enthusiastic, but inept gardener. In his spare time he runs a venture capital fund in London and San Francisco, which specialises in Medical Sciences.

Oliver Mosley

Oliver lives in London and is a barrister specialising in fraud and crime. He previously worked on the committee for Front Row, the OE drama society, and has been a member of the Dragonflies since leaving Eton. His hobbies are solely limited to Ru Paul’s Drag Race.

Pierre d’Alancaisez

Pierre is a contemporary art curator, critic, and researcher. He formerly directed an art gallery and has been a cultural strategist, publisher, scientist, and financial services professional.

Charlie Bodenham

Charlie is a Gemini with little interest in horoscopes. He is also an entrepreneur, having founded two clothing brands, and is currently launching a matchmaking app to help people connect. He studied social anthropology and is happiest when found amongst interesting strangers.

Former committee members: Thomas Ponsonby (chairman), Piers Torday, Michael Parsons, Tom Calvocoressi, Jack Wakefield, Toby Greenall, Quintin Beer, Simon Toyne, Cosmo de Bono.
