Eton Dragonflies Committee

Our activities as organised by a voluntary committee.

We are happy to receive expressions of interest from members wishing to contribute to the work. Please get in touch.

Danny Williams, Chairman

Danny was an early member of Dragonflies. He worked in publishing and media for many years, more recently taking a role launching a new government agency. When he’s not darting around the country, he lives between London and Sussex. He took over the Chairmanship in 2024 from Thomas Ponsonby who ably chaired Dragonflies from 2012.

Oliver Mosley, Secretary

Oliver Mosley joined the Dragonflies committee in 2020 and was made Secretary in 2025. He works as a criminal barrister in London, specialising in serious crime and fraud, and lives in Islington.

Tim Funnell, Treasurer

Tim is an avid, but amateur beekeeper and an enthusiastic, but inept gardener. In his spare time he runs a venture capital fund in London and San Francisco, which specialises in Medical Sciences.

Pierre d’Alancaisez

Pierre is a contemporary art curator, critic, and researcher. He formerly directed an art gallery and has been a cultural strategist, publisher, scientist, and financial services professional.

Charlie Bodenham

Charlie is a Gemini with little interest in horoscopes. He is also an entrepreneur, having founded two clothing brands, and is currently launching a matchmaking app to help people connect. He studied social anthropology and is happiest when found amongst interesting strangers.

Cosmo de Bono

Cosmo is a student at Oxford reading Chinese and Korean. When not in the library, he splits his time between playing the piano, drinking bubble tea and performing in comedy shows. He ran the LGBTQ society in his final two years at school.

Will Le Blanc-Smith

Will works in investment management, looking after portfolios of assets for private clients, trusts and charities. He lives in Battersea and is a very enthusiastic, although maddeningly inconsistent, tennis player. He can regularly be found on local courts or following the GLTA tour around Europe in a vain quest for a trophy.

Former committee members: Thomas Ponsonby (chairman), Piers Torday, Michael Parsons, Tom Calvocoressi, Jack Wakefield, Toby Greenall, Quintin Beer, Simon Toyne, Francis Williams.
